As some of you know I teach CBT every Satruiday and went to Cardington to be assessed last year. Well after alot of pondering and practice I went back to Cardington DSA on Tuesday 29th for my one to one motorcycle instructors exam (DAS) Of course it was a bleeding hot day and as you would expect a little nervous. It is 6 sections 1. Differences between small bikes and big bikes 2. off road exercises 2 x 30 minute lessions 3. ON road exercises 3 x 30 minute lessons The big bike was a Hinda CD600 with Combi brakes/ ABS and fi Off road excercises were move off and figure of 8 On road exercises were: Bends including country roads, built up areas and national speed limits Round abouts Junctions and emerging fields of vision I must admit it went very quickly and I looked like I had put on a very wet tshirt at the end, combination of sweat and heat. Anyway the result is either unsatisfactory or satisfactory. Lucky I scored well and passed with nearly full top marks. So I am now a fully qualified DAS instructor.
