As most will know was never a fan of the Tokico's and fitted Nissin 4 potters to replace. This helped a lot but my brake lever has always felt a bit spongy and not totally confidence inspiring . However, I bit the bullet so to speak and recently replaced the innards of my Front master Cylinder. This morning has been the first time I have been able to get out and test them properly. Well impressed. much more feel from the lever, certainly a lot less travel and in a hard brake test managed to get the back wheel off the ground. Think I have finally got my front braking sorted as to how I think it should be. Now to work on the rear.

Les, you do realize that the brake on the rear wheel contributes nothing while its in the air. You'll obviously have to change up your braking technique to take advantage of an upgraded rear.

I've seen the master cylinder upgrade kits on Ebay previously and was curious as to whether they improved the front brake, as like you I find the feel spongy
