Evening guys, IM Kris and i live in the Brecon beacons. Ive had my zrx1100 98 for 18 months now and love it. Ive had bikes all my life but only passed my test just over 2 yrs ago Mods so far zzr1100 cams dj stge3 carbs, 180 rear wheel conversion and last week changed the rear shocks for hagon 2810's as my oems are buggered, ive also done the head light relay mod to improve the head light. I have confess most of the work has been done by my friend who is also a zrx owner and a machanic. I am currently on the look out for a set of aftermarket down pipes in heading toward the sandy stainless steel any ideas would be great fully received cheers kris

Welcome to the :UK: Kris. Sounds like you're well down the Modding path already, but I'm sure we can help you a bit if you run short of ideas. Have you had the stock suspension sorted for your weight and riding style. That won't make it perfect, but it does make them a lot more planted. Set the sag correctly for your weight front and back (about 1" with the rider seated. I've found that fork compression set at minimum or perhaps 1 click off and fork rebound set at 1 click away from maximum, along with the stock shocks set at 2 for compression and 4 for rebound quite transformed the fairly wooden and harsh ride, and kept the front tire planted on the road much better through the corners. Don't know about the Hagon's adjustability features, but the stock shocks needed less compression and more rebound control as well. A jet kit, when you get a full exhaust system, will wake up some untapped power in the 1100 (neither can do much alone, but together they are a bit 'O magic).

Thanks for the welcome Its a labour of love altho i have spatt the dummy a few times in the last 12 months, was sposed yo buy down pipes last week when i took the cover off my rex to find the exhaust side shock had popped, the hagons so far are a bit on the harsh side but i did 70 miles Thursday and 80 miles yesterday and ive tinkered along the way to get the ride correct, in a bit of a fatty so the poor sodds ave got their work cut out but for £200 what can you expect they work which is the main thing How do you post pics on this forum?? Hi Kris, I presume you are the same Kris from breacon, who recently bidded on my old Blue Flame end cans? Anyway, welcome to the forum, great bunch of guys with lots of ZRX knowledge My ZRX came with stainless steel headers on it, when it was purchased, regrettably I don't know what make they are though? The bike is pretty much standard, except for braided hoses and my recent addition of a stubby end can

Hi kris and welcome to the rabble I fitted sandys stainless to my 1100 about a month ago with an A16 stubby. Looks great and sounds even better. I did have an issue with the angle the sandys had. When I fitted the old micron can on it stuck out at a real bad angle. I emailed sandys to mention it and they were going to pass that.on to the engineers. As I've put a much shorter zaust on the angle looks alot better and not as bad. Hope they get it right for yours matey. ![]() Picy to show result. Comin to wales for a week hooning around in july. Can't wait
