Welcome aboard Farmer! Tell us a bit about your new REX, and how you found it. Been looking for one, or just came upon it? i have a zx7r that i have owned from new 1997 16000 miles but due to dodgy neck i don't ride it as much as i would like so i decided to chop it in it was a wrench i can tell you. it was a toss up between a zrx or a z1000 so i have been browsing ebay and autotrader and this one popped up on autotrader. it's being delivered Thursday i have not seen it yet neither has the trader seen my 7r it's coming from up liverpool way

I've owned a 7r myself. Great bike. Best front end in the business But as you say, not a good bike if you got back or neck problems for longer rides. You won't regret the change. I've had just as much fun on the rex. If not more

I have had two ZX7R in my time, one on the road and the other was purely a trackday bike, both were superb machines. As you say RT, they have the best front end in the business ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v382/ZRXgremlin/Cache/2top/thumb.gif) Picture is of me at Brands Hatch Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/1355282/thumbnailer/0KlfcWbe_QjhQ4hE1_Q_.jpg)

Welcome where ever you are. I got a ZRX1200r back in April last year, from a friend and up on him dropping her off i'd not seen it. I like my naked bikes, and had a Bandit 1200 back in 2006, loved it but had to sell to pay solicitors off. So last year the opportunity arose when I was looking about, I fancied a new Z800 but the ZRX came up at the right time and price. You'll enjoy it for sure.
