Ok the bikes not missing but the engine is/was misfiring.
I was riding home from Lytham the other night and the next thing I know it's running like a dog, possibly down to 2 firing cylinders. Pulled over and she cut out. Tried restarting, still same however it would rev and pickup and probably firing as should. But again at tick over she's mis and cut out. As i'd stuffed the wifes jacket inner under the seat not 10mins earlier I whipped off the seat to check things. All seemed as should be. Fired her up and she seemed a bit better and after a few mins she settled down. So, we set off and about 3mls down the road she skipped a few beats for about 30secs and settled again. For the next 15mls home she was fine. I've not had chance to do a thorough check, but last night checked air filter, K&N was cleanish. I'd also removed the Akro baffle the week before if that gives any clues.
Thoughts gents?
Cheers

Possibly a blocked fuel filler breather causing a partial vacuum in the tank. Try opening the tank next time and listen for a pop as the air get in

Yep agreed with Burchy, if it happens again just pull over and pop the fuel filler and try again.

Check your plug lead caps, they might be corroded where they connect to the plugs., hard to see as they are long. Happened to me and new caps fixed it .

Well it's not happened again. I've been out a few times this last week. Including 25mile trip to work today, not a beat missed. I'll check plug leads etc this weekend.
Cheers lads.
