Bumped into a nice chap at the weekend on an early ZRX1100 (Green/Blue). He asked 'what are those things under the carbs?
He was referring to those things under the float bowls on my ZRX1200(06). No idea was my answer, so what are they?

Fuel cutoff solenoids. Supposed to clean up emmisions when the engine is as speed, but the throttle closed. some folk remove them

Won't make any difference in performance at all. You will have to get some older floatbowls, I think. I expect they help to cut down on the overrun burbling as well

Back to burbles. I removed the baffle from the Akro at weekend. Beautiful burbling grumbles now. Bliss.
Misses says it sounds like there's something wrong! DOH!
