my possible future son-in-law, young Bradley Jodies boyfriend is now two thirds of the way towards passing his bike licence. Theory Test Passed (by one mark the lucky git) Mod 1 passed yesterday now just a three week wait until his mod two. I just hope he does pass he already has his heart set on a ZXR7.

Si , is the a simple explanation of the new rules you can write. I've had one or two people say what do I do to get on a bike. I've no idea what the new law is now?
Oh and well done Bradley .

Good luck, then to Bradley over the next couple of weeks. ZXR750 is a bit of a brute for a novice, don't you think, Les? He could get himself into trouble quicker than he could get out of it on one of those

He also needs to learn then that the throttle works in two directions and is not simply an on/off switch. This valuable lesson is often better learnt at slower speeds on a smaller bike. Congrats Bradley, good luck with the final part of your test and take care afterwards.

Si, hopefully if he passes Mod 2 then should get in just before the new laws affect him.

Well thats about as clear as a muddy pool on a foggy day for a blind man facing the wrong way. So if anybody asks me what they have to do to pass a bike test.. I'll tell them to forget it. Get a push bike you dont need to pass any test you can ride as fast as you legs will take you you dont need insurance/tax/mot every year you dont need to have brakes/gears you can break every high way code rule in the book you can ride on the road/pavement and exspect eveybody to move out your way, blame them if they dont, and as long as you dont meet a copper that can be botherd to stop you, you do as you like. If your cheeky enough, and dont give the copper your propper name, then you wont have to pay a £60 fine. oh and can ride with your head held high knowing your saving the planet from nasty gasses.
