Now that's not nice Brakey, those poor men in white coats in Honda land, calculating this n that, smoothing out the bumps, burning the midnight oil, slaving over the computer, designing a motorcycle that is built by robots and uniform wearing techno minded hard working Japanese.
And you say BURN the CB1000 .....
Ok, but don't forget to throw the new VFR on the pile as well. 🔥💥🔥

The 1 bike i have never owned a Honda, dunno why just don't like them and never have, fraid if you snapped me in half now i'd have Kawasaki written through me like a stick of rock! and be proud of it pete as we all are of course, ive had a few hondas in my younger days and the last one was the cbr600 before i swapped it for a real bike and got a zx6r and yes very reliable but i have to say the best bike i have ever owned is the zrx1200.

In addition to a Honda scooter in 1960, I also had a Honda Hawk 400 T2 in 1978. Twin, 38 hp, 5 speed, disc brakes and electric start.
Commuted on it for a year or so, modded it with air forks, short, narrower drag bars, black Comstar wheels, all the trim removed and painted about 30 coats of Royal Blue paint. It turned into something a bit more cafe racer looking.
Often when I put my tank bag on it, the vent hold in the filler would get blocked and it would starve for fuel in about 10 miles. Took me a while to figure that one out. After that I put a piece of towel under the tank bag and that seemed to allow enough air to move under the bag so the issue went away.
Got good money for it when I sold it to buy my 82 GPz.
