Just a quick hello from a new member in sunny North Kent. I have a 1997 C1 in purple, the best colour,( it hides the dirt). Will try and post a picture or two some time soon.

Yea it is real friendly and helpful on here, no bitching arguing ect plenty of other sites offer that, us lot just cant be bothered with it all to be honest. Get lots of new guys just post a hello and we never hear from them again shame really. this sites held together by a core of maybe 15/20 ish members, we meet up a few times a year and just have a laugth really, last big meet was in Normandy France. Just get stuck in and enjoy, it can be a bit quiet on here sometimes maybe thats what puts people off.

Welcome there Phil from a member of the contingent of the :zrxuk: We're everywhere! As you've noted, mostly friendly banter and motorcycle talk here, so tell us a bit about your ride and yourself. Any mods on your REX? If not, that status is not likely to survive this bunch for long ;D

Hello, luckyphil here again. A couple of answers to questions from badger and lightspeed. Sorry badger, no i haven't been to the Ace, ( shame on me ) something I need to rectify in the future. In response to lightspeeds enquiry, the changes i have made are as follows: a scottoiler ( touring ) fitted, a front fender extender, i have removed the radiator diamond rubber, i have fitted a set of stainless steel downpipes and collector and replaced the brake hoses with Goodridge front and back. While the hoses were off i overhauled the calipers with new seals and pads etc. This summer i also had to replace the clutch after it started slipping badly.

Hello & welcome. I like them in any colour as long as it has a Kawasaki badge on the tank.

Looks like you've made all the right mods so far. Spookily I've also done the Scottoiler, Fenda extenda, rubber diamond, stainless downpipes and goodrich hoses.
