does anyone else have a rattlin noise from the front brakes as if the pads were loose. Brakes have been completely overhauled an the noise is still there. Workin great tho.

There is a backing "grease" of some sort that can be applied to the back of the pads that quiets that noise. Can't remember what it is actually called? Slip or something like that? Too much thinkin' this early in the a.m.

I use Copper Slip, smear it all over the back of the pads.

Does it do it all the time or just when you put the brakes on?

Check for warped discs would be the next step.

I'd have a quick check of the disc retaining bolts, then I'd check the mudguard bolts. Might not be the calipers, especailly if they have been overhauled.
