Anyone had problems with renntec engine bars?
Right fits great but left impossible to fit without possible damage to crancases.
Sent one lot back, but replacements the same.
Had to attack new ones with angle grinder to make it fit.

Always found Renntec products to be fine. There are loads of Rexes around with these bars fitted. Don't understand why you should get a problem

Mine fit OK although I believe the Mr Bounce had a bit of trouble with his. Can't remember what the problem was but seem to recall that something was touching somewhere. My own are quite a close fit.

Mine were a git to fit :headbang: , back mounting didn't line up, lots of fiddling to get them on, not looking forward to taking them of to do clutch/sprockets etc but figured when they do come of i'm going to modify the mounting hole a bit with a big file!

When I fitted Renntec's bars to my old ZR7s, iniutially it looked like they weren't going to fit and appeared about an inch out under the carbs, However, by loosely assembling the whole affair and gradually tightening each fitting a little bit at a time, it all went together perfectly in the end

So Burchy, does that mean that the bars went on, but the bike is now all twisted out of alignment? ;D
