I had my speedo bulb go last night. Is the more than one bulb behind the speedo, because on the bottom of the speedo it is still just about let up. I am Wondering if I need a new bulb, or if the balb has just become un lodged?. My second question if I need a new bulb do you know what type?, I haven't got a garage so I can't just take it apart and leave it. Is there anything else I need to know before taking the speedo apart. Any advice on the matter much appreciated.

Itβs a wedge shaped bulb. There are 2 bulbs in each gauge both 12V 1.7W I think on the R you will have to lift the whole gauge unit off to get to the back of the gauges. The bulbs are then easy to see. Just pull out the rubber thingy

as a thought, I did an experiment not so long ago, where one of my speedo bulbs had blown (and there was not an eskimo or seal in sight) and I left it to see how long before any of the others joined it. I think all four went over a period of about 6 weeks.
So advice is to change them all. and while you've got the unit off do the oil, indicator and neutral lights at the same time.
