I didn't believe that the centre two spark plugs were THAT difficult to get at until BADGER kindly whipped off the tank and proved it, yesterday So, what tips have you rabble got for this frustrated Banana Is it just a bloody great socket extension bar from Halfrauds, or is there another tool? Any tips on getting to those nasty buggers in the middle, especially second right which is obscured by the frame and wiring now I remember why I like BMW's

I find the one in the standard toolkit works perfectly well.

I removed the tank. Used the standard tool out of the tool kit with an extension bar out of me socket set. Torgued to the correct setting when fitting. I think the setting was 14 tons NM but can't remember. Hardest part I found was getting hte middle 2 leads out the way. Remember I learnt my lesson teh hard way with the sump , which BTW is still good with my temp/perm metal weld stuff.

I find the one in the standard toolkit works perfectly well. The plug socket in the standard toolkit fit's fine. With the black handled bit that fits into it you could do the outside two plugs, but it isn't long enough to get to the middle two.....it doesn't stick up past the frame enough to turn, as BADGER demonstrated yesterday I guess it's a long extension bar from Halfrauds then.....bloody Kawasaki's Didn't have this problem with my Aerial 350 De Luxe

I'm hearing that the use of an extension may be a bit 'o overwhelming technological complexity for some members here. For those who can't handle the complexity. . . remember, it's not a problem on a C-90 :ele:

Didn't even look for one. Used a standard extention from me socket set and off I went.
