The beast is feeling a bit different recently, i have the clutch lever set at position 1 and clutch feels like theres no thickness to it. its got a good biting position when pulling away but its like pulling against water when going up/down the box ! Is this "normal "or should oils/ fluids need changing. After browsing my little handbook it states that clutch slave cyl piston seal and master cyl cup and dust seal should be replaced after 4 yrs, would the dealers do this on specific service times or is that for me to keep on top of any feed back is appreciated I shall dig out any invoices on the last couple of services to see if anythings noted

Your dealers should do the work at the specific times, particularly if they're a reputable Kawasaki dealer. Chances are they probably aren't/haven't. I remember you've had clutch problems in the past so maybe there's an underlying problem there?

I should imagine that unless the 4 year service is more expensive than others the seals would also be additional. By the way, the reason that we normally wait to be asked is that if you mention it to the customer they normally see it as yet another rip of from us.

i havent changed the position since ive owned it, the span is comfortable for me - local kwak say they will do a full service for £325- i say nah, ive done pretty much everything else on it just before xmas so i think il get them to have a look at the clutch/ seals when they reset my top end- i would do it myself but moving house in 3 weeks and my garage hasnt even got leccy in it yet
