Had a sit on me mates bike the other day and tried out his hotgrips/heated handlebars, these i like a lot ;D so decided to invest in a pair to keep me pinkys warm. Was just going to go for a set of Oxford ones (name i no and trust in motorcycle circles) then read an article by an FJR owner who'd bought a set and found the rubbers were shorter than oe and they looked naff! Anyone got any thoughts, advice all much appreciated, thanxs in advance Pip

Just my opinion here ......I have had fitted genuine HONDA heated grips to several of my bikes (including non Honda's...a friendly assistant can work out which grips you need). They are bloody expensive, but work superbly with three positions, a built in safety cut out and NO Honda logos if I remember correctly. They are real quality kit, and the controls are very neat and tidy. I get the garage to fit them for me If you're keeping the bike longterm, I totally recommend these, or Kawasaki specified ones which used to be available in the accessories list. You could always ask for them as a Christmas & birthday prezzie to lessen the costs I know several bikers who have used Oxford and other versions and they have all broken/fallen to pieces or looked a bit cheap and nasty, or the grips have worn quickly (like tyres) and end up worn to the wires . .......sorry to sound like a snob there.....
