I want to change the springs on my shocks as the originals are in a "shocking" state !!!!!!!! anybody know how i go about stripping them down to remove the springs ?

Youll need a spring compressor...once youve got that and compressed the springs,you'll figure it out...

if your changing your spring for new i would get a new spring to suit your weight if you do a lot of solo riding as everyone should know zrx handle better 2 up as they are over sprung from the factory

ok thanks, next question, wheres the best place to get new springs ? im also thinking about braided hoses for the brakes & clutch, good idea or not ?

err...a spring shop... Braided hoses are good things. The ZRX isnt lacking in braking performance anyway & personally,i wouldnt change them for the sake of it...but,when they need changing,id go for braided hoses. They wont actually improve the brakes,but they will make them feel much firmer & positive...

If replacing the springs, i know stupid question but what weight or compression do you go for, i take it you need something softer. mostly ride on my on and find that when you push it round corners at high speed the back end has a tendansy to skip, this makes for some interesting riding, still fun or is it im just mad? probably! but i don't care and just tell my self to keep breathing
