I have a meta M357 alarm fitted on my zrx1200s. This morning I tried to turn the alarm off and had no disarming signal. I thought it had gone into sleep mode so turned the ignition on but had nothing, I can turn the lights on but get no ignition lights, there is no flash from the alarm flashing light. The alarm seems to be dead . Any help would be greatly appreciated. COZ IT'S DOING MY HEAD IN

without a bit more info, 1. How long since it was last used 2. How bright are the lights. ie, is the battery flat. or is the battery flat in the alarm fob if they are not, 3. It might be possible to con the alarm into resetting itself, disconnect the battery and leave it for at least 30 mins, when you reconnect put a boost into the battery, make up a set of jump leads using 5 amp cable and a couple of crocidile clips.

Used last saturday and sunday. Lights are bright. horn is loud. Battery is fully charged. Got 2 fobs.
The alarm did disarm for a minute, started the bike and then the alarm reset itself and stopped the engine, this happened a couple of times but now nothing. I disconnected the battery and then connected it again. No joy!
Looks as if it's an internal fault with the alarm/Immobiliser, Meta will be no help because all they will do is give me a contact number for a dealer, who if my memory serves me right is in Swansea about 50 miles away from me. I will be removing it just incase it becomes faulty when I'm on a motorway in the outside lane and it decides to cut the engine out.
