Hi all,
Been trying to find the above for an '06 ZRX1200R, but can't find anyone who can supply one. Is the '03 the same, does anyone know?
Thanks

Hi all, Been trying to find the above for an '06 ZRX1200R, but can't find anyone who can supply one. Is the '03 the same, does anyone know? Thanks To my knowledge, the 'R' screen has not changed since the first model. I'm 6ft 4 and needed extra protection from wind buffeting experienced on my 2004 'R' model. I purchased a GIVI D174S screen from my main dealer. Cost about £60 and problem solved. It's almost twice the size of original screen and I rate very highly

Powerbronze, Ermax and not least MRA all make screens for the ZRX.
I can't see any logical reason why Kwak would have changed the fairing for the later models so assume any screen will fit. The screen manufacturers themselves ought to be able to answer that for you.

RE: my recommendation for MRA windshields. I've had two of thier windshields on two differernt bikes and have been well impressed with them both. Your traditional "flip screen" works in the same way as a barn door and causes lots of turbulence which is great if you enjoy having your head pulled around like a ping-pong ball in the breeze. The MRA screen lifts the air high enough for comfort but does it smoothly. See what's known as a spoiler screen, middle pic bottom, as opposed to the ugly touring screen on the right. (too tall) >>> See Here <<< I'd also heartily recommend HPS whose pages I've linked to. I've used these guys before and they've proved to be knowledgeable and efficient on every occasion.

Yep IMHO MRA is the way to go. As far as I know the screen is the same on the 11 and the 12, never mind between 03 - 06.

I gotta say,ive NEVER found a higher, flip,or double bubble screen that actually improves anything. In my experience,if i could detect any difference over the standard screen, its the increased buffeting you get with a higher screen. I hate them. Ive just bought a standard screen to replace the higher one on the 955. I dont like the look of them & as they dont actually work,i fail to see the point im them The manufacturers spend millions on aerodynamics in the wind tunnel,so do you think a £30 bit of plastic from Busters is gonna improve things...? I think not. Its all in your head if you think it does... I recently read a test in a mag, where they tested about 20 different aftermarket raised screens & out of them all, only 1 offered more comfort, protection & wind resistance over the standard screen...but the drag coefficient plummeted... Well, thats what i think anyway...

Thank you sir. BIKESNOOPY, gotta say that fitting the Givi screen was the best thing I did with my Rex It's pretty much as tall as the 'S' screen now, and with me being 18 feet tall, it has drastically reduced the buffeting I got on my upper body and head from the original screen When I am stretched out flat on the tank with my feet on the tail end, it goes all quiet and peaceful
