With much help from :ebay: I now have a full pannier system for Rexy. Beautiful it ain't, but practical it most certainly is I can take off the Kawasaki rack and panniers rail kit in 15 mins and restore to original by fitting the grab rails... With the rack/pannier rails With the top box and pillion backrest Fully laden.... With the topbox/backrest, and pillion peg extenders, MRS FLOOG is as cozy as can be. With just the panniers I can carry lot's of gear to my folks which happens a lot, and fully laden I'm ready for our next ZRXUK trip It's all GIVI and the MONOKEY system which I've always used and trusted

Very nice indeed. I am looking at doing something similar with Krauser boxes seeing as that is the make of fridge I already have cinnected. The back rest looks like a must for me as the boss is maoning the fridge is digging in a little

But . . . but . . . Floog! Now where are ya gonna mount the steamer trunk? :headbang: Ah, LIGHTSPEED that is to be mounted on top of the three paniers which will form a base for it...... I have selected this Victorian style one shipped from Ebay Canada.... FROM CANADA. This is a great old humpback steamer trunk. Wood slats. Ornate corners. Leather side handles still intack - some light cracking. Red and gold design overall - not sure if this is hand done or if it is a natural process of metal?. Gives it real character. Wood insert inside. Still nice and clean. Measures: 30 1/2" wide X 17 1/2" long X 19" high. Only problem is, where will MRS FLOOG sit.....

Hope you haven't informed the Missus of your steam trunk plans - the hockey black eye would look minor if ya did. If you're going to go in magnificent coach style, something might have to get left behind. Probably be wise to make sure it isn't the Missus' behind that's left

mr floog dare i say the pannier system looks great, and im sure very practical - the only thing wrong with the pictuers is the blody lawn, is there any life left in it I do like to spend a little time and money on the rexer, but how about making your grass as green as your two wheeled steed - EQUALITY FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT !!!

I was thinking of laying some fake grass, astra turf.....but knowing the oiks in this area, I'd wake to permanent goalposts and floodlights on my front garden
