You may recall my post on April 3rd folllowing my first ever crash in 25 years of driving/riding when my beloved little car was written off by a learner driver.... I have sent letters and made phone calls, spoken to countless useless staff members from CHURCHILL insurance, been lied to (three of my letters apparently 'lost'), been put on hold and forgotten, I even had to phone and chase up the engineers myself....and all because I refused to accept the initial valuation of my written off car. If I had accepted, I would have received the cheque in four days following the crash. In the end, it cost me three months worth of direct debits (£66), fighting to get a re-valuation, and eventually I angrily accepted that initial offer because I have lost patience and faith in this damn company, and I am car less and losing money all the time I got the cheque this morning (less my excess ha ha ha!!). I've now cancelled my DD and am seriously out of pocket. I have been treated exceptionally poorly, and will never use CHURCHILL again, nor recommend them to anyone. What a farce. OK rant over, I feel better for that.

Oh it just got even better this afternoon :headbang: I get a phone call from a guy called Raj who is the orginal engineer who set the valuation price at £1760....which I rejected. He explains he agrees with my two letters stating it's worth more...two of three letters CHURCHILL claimed they never received from me!! The final insult, he was phoning to tell me he had informed CHURCHILL that the car should be re-valued at £1972. Because I have taken the original offer it's now tough luck!! Have I been stitched up or what

Floog Sometimes life just sucks! :swear: Would be nice if you could prove any of that, but chances are obviously slim "take what we're offering, or we'll just outlast ya" Go for a , it'll help some.
