As it's obvious that our leader GREMLIN has reached 'that age' :jerry: and is finding the Rex a bit too much to handle .......even in the safe confines of his own garage.....I have started a special fund and would be grateful for member donations... ;D I was thinking of purchasing something more suitable for GREM :hmm: something he can manage, something a bit lighter, but still something that he can enjoy and care for and still be a part of the scene.........so..........an ER5 with stabilisers so he can't drop it, it is then.... With a reinforced airflow screen of course prefereably rubber so it bounces!! and maybe an eye test at Spec savers........ donations to: GREMLIN'S ER5 FUND 18 LOSING IT AVENUE DROP'EM OOOPS IAM A1 :chicken: :ele: :chicken: :ele: :hides: ps....sorry Grem...the voices from my dark side made me say it....you can slap me when we meet up.....

No problem mate. I've always said that if someday you're gonna look back on this and laugh then you might just as well laugh about it now. In an obscure sort of way it's done me a favour. That mirror was already scratched and the screen got damaged by stones flicked up from a bike I was following, only weeks after I fitted it So it's all gonna look brand new now :sunny: and hasn't cost me nearly as much as I anticipated.

We've probably all done the same or worse than GREMLIN at times....I dropped my last bike which only weighed 167kg when I dismounted and thought I'd lowered the sidestand...BUT HADN'T Caught her midway but she got the better of me. The only good thing was that the Givi pannier took the fall.....so no damage to the bike but lots to my pride and one new pannier Someone once said: "IF PEOPLE DID NOT SOMETIMES DO SILLY THINGS-NOTHING INTELLIGENT WOULD EVER GET DONE" I like that

I like that too. How about: The extent of ones stupidity is directly proportional to the number of witnesses at any given moment. (c) Gremlin
