Dont know if its my worst moment, but deffo the most embarrasing, was in 1974, had a Triumph 250 Trophy, stopped at a zebra crossing in Sutton Coldfield high street, to allow a group of young ladies to cross. Was blipping the throttle to impress them when my hand slipped on the clutch and I stalled. Slid my foot onto the kickstart which lodged in a hole in the bottom of my boot. kicked down, bitch kicked back and flipped me up and over, still attached to the kickstart. snotty heap on floor. mates all falling off their bikes laughing, young ladies walked on without a backward glance.

my most worst and horrible moment was a journey from thruxton to home after race day. I left after 2nd bsb race. Id developed a real bad headache earlier in the day. As I rode home I got very ill, I managed to get home in one piece but as I got into the kitchen with my head now swimming I just threw up couldn't even make it to the sink. spent the rest of the night and half the next day in bed in the dark. Migraines shit things they are
