Lets here them then: I was touring Scotland on a camping holiday on my tod in 2009 as i recall, anyway i'm on the road and its absolutely pishing it down, i'm wearing this one piece waterproof suit and as i'm sat on the bike its causing it to wrinkle up between my crouch and the tank bag, pools of water are forming in the wrinkles, but i don't know this as i'm to busy trying to see where the hell i'm going (yes it was that bad!), so i wriggle around on the seat a bit to try and get the blood going again in my arse and legs and as i do this a pool of ice cold water filters threw my zip into my crouch then straight down the crack of my arse. At that moment in time i could have quiet easily parked the bike in the nearest ditch, lobbed all my camping gear in the nearest Loch, called a taxi and gone to the nearest B&B/Hotel with a bar and called it a day with bloody motorcycles!!!! Ok so probably not "the" worst moment (that was stacking a 6 week old Suzi on TPFT insurance in my teens ) but definately up there with some of the worst, So come on guys lets hear those stories Pete

Without doubt my worst biking moment came before xmas. One of my very good long time biking pal who i used to work with and go riding with, including sponsored rides that we organised together was checking out the weather on his P.C on the eve of a ride to Scotland with the bike all loaded up ready to go. Hag (his name) suddenly felt dizzy and could not focus on the screen. To cut a long story short, after managing to phone the ambulance it was discoved that he had had a stroke! He's only two years older than myself and will never ride his brand new FJR. He is recovering slowley and still a biker at heart Sorry for this somber story, but you did ask! On a happier note, Notice the days are getting longer?

RT that's really sad to hear, Hope he recovers as much as possible and as quickly as possible.
I remember seeing a club/web site that takes disabled riders on the back of other bikes round a circuit, think its up north some where.. If I find the link I will post it on

My worst moment is for ever burned into my mind, It was a sunny day & for a bit of a laugh I fired up my old CG125 (Yes Honda plays it part in my down fall) so stay with me on this one, so off I set for a wee bimble around my local area & thought "I know I'll drop into the model flying field, of which I'm a member" after much fooling & hooning about on the bike by many club members who had not slung a leg over a bike in many a year !! OK so far so good I hear you say ? We'll this is not strictly speaking true ! As this had rekindled a passion in a club member who asked his Wife if he could get a Motor Bike & shortly after that to my total amazement a GPZ500 in metallic Blue pulled up at my front door & as the rider removed his crash helmet............WHO WAS LOOK STRAIGHT BACK AT ME ?
Brakey that's who.........Brakey! :-)

worst biking moment was turning up with a brand new GPZ500 at m8's door. Only kidding. No it was watching the Big Z getting taking away on the back of a trailer in Bilbao and discovering Bilbao was shut for a week FFS

Ahh Brakey can I tell the story of 1,ZRX1200S my front door & a roughcast wall & one trapped rider ? I love that tale it always make me smile :-)
