Ok chaps. Last couple of years I covered those bikes of mine not in regular use with WD40 and put them asleep for the winter. No petrol on the carbs or tanks, kept fairly dry though with the damp winter air only so much can be done. Wife won't let them in the house.
So which is the best? And any other tips greatly appreciated?
Cheers.

ACF50 every time I've used it for years on my Plane,Bikes,Cars WD40 is OK for the odd job freeing nuts & bolts bla bla but being water based please please don't spray into switch gear & like as you would not believe the nightmare jobs I've had to fix over the years due to the wounders of WD40 it dose not really do what it says on its Tin. www.acf-50.co.uk/

I ride my bike through winter, and wash it down every time, but still give it the odd spray of FS 365
(unless its really bad weather then the car gets a outing )

Used WD40 for years now on all my cars and bikes, the REX is 7 years old, had her from new and lives in a tin shed in the garden (no heating etc, ect) and anyone who's seen her can vouch for her condition all due to WD40, she's done damn close on 30000 miles now, been all over Britain and Europe in some truly horrendous weather and all is still good.
I wouldn't knock ACF50, GT85 or any of these other products as i have never used them but WD40 does the job for me and is half the price......................................

ACF50, if its good enough for whirrly gigs in a salt laden environment, its good enough for the bike.
