not seen it mentioned before, so thought I would, the steam cleaner seems to be becomming a popular addition to many households and like them I have secumed and bought one. Done the kitchen, bathroom, windows etc etc, well yesterday I was out cleaning the majestic ready to fit the new rad, which btw has finally turned up and sitting in the garage was the steamer, so it seemed a good idea to give it a go on the bike, I can say without a doubt it strips the oldchain grease off the back wheel real pronto, brought the baglux tank cover up like new, well impressed, just got to buy some new attachments for it now as evidently Im not allowed to use the same ones for the bike and the cooker

Wouldn't use it on the engine Les, think you may find it will take the paint off very easily mate, i just use the Autoglym bike cleaner for degreasing personally.

Well it you leave the dirt on ya dike long enough that it takes a steam cleaner to degrease it.... I would suggest you clean the bike more often I bought a steam cleaner for getting some really old wall paper off when we first moved in this place, god what a job that was, but the steam was the only thing that moved it. Had a go at cleaning the place up from time to time, was ok, but not over the moon with it. Would I use it on the bike ?? don't need to, I keep my bikes clean. Think that's why my bike was voted "Best S" in 2008. The same year YB got "Best R"

Badge, my swingarm oiler gives plenty grime over 1 rideout, needs loads of m8's elbow grease to shift it. Should actually buy him a steam cleaner

Badge. Probably a simple terminology problem. You have to know from Brakey's work background, that he really doesn't pay that much attention to the technical stuff.
