Yep it is possible to change out the master cylinder, not sure on the details but know a few have done mods on the other side. Can i just ask is it for cosmetic reasons or down to poor brakes. My brakes were terrible, couldn't find any reason why till i discovered the front discs were all grooved (the effects of using cheap ebay pads, real false economy and never to be repeated!), once i had changed these and fitted new pads i almost went over the handlebars first time out.
Young lad at works got the same problem with his Kwak 600, he won't listen keeps buying more cheap pads and bleeding his brakes, his discs look like an ordance survey map of the Brecon Beacons so his pad/disc contact is terrible, ho hum i tried i supose!

Nothing wrong with the original M/C that a seals kit won't sort out. And much cheaper too.
Main braking problems come from poorly serviced calipers
