Hi, Just got myself a 1100 rex after going through pain and suffering riding a 750 katana. The rex has a stage 3 Dyno kit, Metmachex swingarm and a few other little goodies plus more to come ;D

Hmm a bit about myself, ok. I'm 44 years young, lived in Buxton high peak (some of the best roads in uk) 2003 moved to Boston Lincs (some of the worst roads in uk) now just moved to Grantham Lincs. (roads are ok if you dodge the pot holes) Been riding bikes from the age of 13 (in the fields) Had a few nice bikes in the past, the likes of Katana's, 1100R Lawson rep, Harris Magnum 2, Dunstall. Stopped riding 18 years ago, met the wife and had kids so bike had to go to make way for the car. 3 years ago got an old 750 s1 katana in a bit of a state took 1year to restore got it on the road but realized i aint 19 anymore, just an hour on the thing and i was in pain. So sold it and got myself a rex

Welcome to the site from one of the Midlanders. There'll be a southerner along in a minute. Have you noticed how the greetings move from North to South on this board. Nice looking Rex you have there. Hoe the Rex works out better for you than the Katana. :hmm: Im sure that only applies if you have really short legs and a strange accent. Yes, she's a big old girl but but like most big girls she's a lot of fun too.

Welcome from a member of the contingent of the UK site. Alberta to be exact. Nice looking ride. You'll find the REX to be a "do it all" kind of ride. Not "perfect" at any one thing, but great at almost anything you want to tackle. There are some who've even tried a little off roading as well, but generally not on purpose.

Welcome..agreed..those Buxton roads are some of the best. Spent many a happy weekend riding up there and chilling out by the dam. I've seen your Rex recently, but can't think where.
It's probably age or drink....no, both

Great looking rex you have there, especially with all the polished sections - very hard core. Compliments the big beefy swinger you have too. Bet they cost a bomb! Your bike would look awesome with stainless headers too Good bike to get back into proper biking, hopefully see you one day soon! YB
