Ive decided to go to the NEC again this year, and have a couple of parts I want to buy Braided hoses for front and rear (what colour and what make) Also i would like to get a braided oil breather hose aswell, BUT, I have R&G crash bungs fitted which go around the old breather pipe, so would a braided hose fit

Personally I think coloured hoses look a bit twee and I prefer shiny stainless hoses and connections. Hel lines are probably cheaper than Goodrich, but still do the job

We use stainless steel a lot. Unfortunately, there's more than one grade of it. The higher the grade number, the less impurities it'll have. But I doubt it'll have that info on it anywhere. We get small rust spots on the cheaper stuff at work but a quick rub of a stainless abrasive pad (looks like a brillo pad) will get rid of them for a while and polish it up as well. I don't think you'll know until you try it.

Methinks the clear plastic is to stop any grit gettin into the braid and rbbin the rbber underneath it. Just a thought

its not rubber, its a type of nylon, its good stuff, tested to around 1800psi i think, originally for aircraft fitment the outside plastic is to stop the brake pipe sawing through your bike, a cable with the sheathing removed will saw through alloy very quickly if its not routed carefully, used "naked" brakeline for years (thats only cos its free though )
