After coming back from our jockland journt there appwars to be a strange noise when decelarating.
It sounds like a piece of paper is flapping about which of course there isn't. Does that make sense?
Also when in 1st I can feel a rumble through the bars. Is this related?
Its hard to explain.

Hope you 2 had a good time. You deserve it, I reckon

Flapping noise seems to be coming from the front of the engine/ rad area but it is hard to tell while riding. I have not been out on it since Saturday when I was teaching.
That reminds me it needs a desperate wash

Try it on a paddock stand when you get 5 minutes

might be an under inflated tyre, or a knacked one

Well have washed the bike befor eit rains again.
Checkled everything over, gave it a little drink of oil and ran it, can't hear a thing so next time I take it out for a spin will see what it does.

OK the noise seems to happen just after I change gear, also the clutch was very stiff this morning.
So I am guessing clutch/ gear related. Might be as simple as need to refresh the fluid. Any advice is appreciated

Make sure that the clutch slave is correctly bolted onto the engine. I had similar clutch related problems a while back and the bl***y slave was nearly hanging off!
