null(CLICK ON 'NULL' TO VIEW) I found this KAWASAKI HISTORY 1952-2002 on-line document very interesting :hmm: Much like 'Ronseal'......it does what it says on the tin and traces Kawasaki's history from 1952 to ,,.....erm........2002!! Lot's of references to the Z1000J and R, ZRX400, ZRX1100, ZRX1200 naked, R and S models....plus all the other models along the years.......

I'm not sure that it was ever Kawasakis biggest seller but it was certainly their longest ever production run spanning over 17 years with only one subtle revamp in all that time. The GPz 500s Stranger still is that they even bothered to mention the GPz 1100e (1995-98) also an ex-Gremlinmobile that in my opinion missed the mark somehow and was never a big seller. A sort of "poor mans ZZR 1100" that didn't really fit well into any category or tick any particular boxes. The only thing it's really got going for it is the fact that in a later evolution it became the ZRX1100.
