Ok...one a day & thats all... Still waiting. Sorted [glow=green,2,300]ZRXUK PR Guru[/glow] Oh, and like the others I think James' bike would be faster with a www.zrxuk.co.uk sticker on it. If nothing else it should serve as a reminder to James that there a group of unknowns ((us) to him) that would like nothing better than to see the little privateer take on the might of the 'big boys' and succeed. :win: Keep us informed bikesnoopy, it's making fascinating reading.

Ok then... When James was in Supersport a couple of years ago,a demon late braking move into the last corner at Donnington, saw him take the lead to win the race. Cresent Suzuki were pissed off at him beating their boy & immediatly slapped a protest in claiming that his bike had been modified outside of the rules & that it couldnt have beaten their bike if it had been legal. The motor was duly removed from James' R6 & painstaking stripped & measured by the authorities th see if anything outside of the normal blueprinting had been done. A week later, the findings came back & the only thing they could find that was different to the regulations was that the valve seat angle had been cut a few degrees out. When Cresent Suzuki were told of this, they carried on with the protest & demanded that James should be stripped of his victory...even though the "modification" had not been done on purpose & it wouldnt gain any power.(James didnt modify the head-it was flowed by Harris Engineering who cut the valve seats wrong). As James' team couldnt afford to counter the protest(£1000 to objest-win or lose)he was stripped of his race win, handing it to the Cresent Suzuki guy. Later on the head was sent to a Yamaha expert who said that by cutting the valves at that angle will actually LOSE about 5bhp from the engine. James was already about 5bhp down on the Suzukis,so that made him 10bhp down. When this was pointed out to Cresent Suzuki, they were asked to retract their protest. They wouldnt hear of it,as the engine wasnt as it should be,wether it makes more or less power-"rules are Rules" they said. As James only had the one engine-which was in bits following the inspection,he had to fit a stock R6 engine for the final race of the season, with only airbox, exhaust & jetting mods. He still came third-siill beating THAT same Suzuki. They didnt protest this time,as the 4th place gave their man the championship. The win that James was stripped of lost him the championship. He finished the year in second. The big boys huh...what heros. . . I'll tell you about some of the tricks Cresent/Rizla pulled after James bought JR's championship winning GSXR1000 next. The trouble started when he out qualified both the works Suzukis at Brands...

"£1000 to object, win or lose". I see he has to fight against the Officeals as well as fellow riders, and big mony teams.

It just shows money talks Snoops pleases pass on our full support for James and Ryan & I will try to pop in to see him at teh race weekend at Mallory Park, if the Pit police allow us to. The big names certainly don't like being beaten by pure talent and wouldn't protest if Haslam beat them I am sure, which he usually does.
