NAME YOUR TOP FIVE BIKES
There doesn't have to be any reason.....or there might be EVERY reason.
Bikes you've had, want, ridden, want to ride, dream of, or bikes that you think have helped shape biking.....no rules.
MY TOP 5
KAWASAKI ZRX1200R
THE best bike I have ever owned for so many reasons. The best looking retro/muscle bike. Oodles of power. Looks the bomb and draws a crowd wherever I go. I always wanted one because of Eddie, now I have one and it lives up to my expectations. The daddy
SUZUKI HAYABUSA
I am not into sports bikes, but the Hayabusa is the exception. I have never known acceleration like it. One of the smoothest pussycat's I have ever ridden until you twist the throttle and the world becomes a blur. I love the styling and would have one in my dream garage without hesitation.
DUCATI MULTISTRADA
I adore these things. Followed from leaked concept to finished machine. Took out a demo bike from Ducati south London..what a hoot. Love the quirky styling, great for a tall lad and tons of stomp. Nearly went for one but reliability deterred me....
BMW1150GS
I used to sell these in my sales executive days. Stunning machine with character, presence and capable of putting a huge grin on yer face. Wonderful
KAWASAKI GT750
I had a 550 and a 750. The big girl served me in my commuter days for many years with no car. In snow, rain and ice. I stuck on a screen and panniers and the thing did everything I could ask. Shaft drive, 127mph, cheap to own and as close as I could get to an ELR in those days. A terrific bike that never missed a beat
