Managed to get a couple of hours on the zed yesterday, took the pipes off without knackering any of the studs which was a brucy bonus, 2 of the pipes are knackered tho,all the platings coming off in sheets so going to get a set made out of seamless stainless, been quoted 150-200 quid which isnt too bad, i would have been happier if it was threpence half'penny, with change for a saturday matinee and a bag of ray knob and chips

Only done it once on the big Z, quite sucessfuly. Taken off loads on cars mind you and always knackered at least 1 of the studs. pain in the arse. Sounds not a bad price there HDB, though not as good as 3 1/2d, with change ofcourse

Ray nob is a chunk of ray still attached to the bone, battered with chips and a barmcake and its reet nice.Monkeys taken a back seat for a while, need to book a test for it in carlisle to get it road legal which costs 85 quid, money which at the moment needs lobbing on the zed.Got the back wheel off and stripped today, the avons perished so more spondulicks needed for that, chain might be salvagable but not looking too healthy, sprockets ok tho.Disc has plenty of meat on it still and its got new pads on.Cush drive looks cushy enough so thats good as well.Just started preping the wheel for re spraying now which may take a while cause its in pretty crap condition, but keeps me out of trouble
