Hi I just thought I would introduce myself and tell you a little about me and my toys. img406.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cimg0099lo9.jpgI live in Newcastle (there is only one Newcastle) I’ve been riding bikes since I was 16 years old and that's quite some time ago (apart from a month that I spent unconscious after an argument with a lamppost but that’s another story and we don’t know each other well enough yet). My passion is speed but I like to be a little different no sports bikes for me (not since the lamppost anyway) I have had my ZRX from new in 02 and its still completely standard except for the Scottoiler and front fender extender. I guess this horrify most of you who buy a machine like mine and modify it before ever riding it as standard. Don’t get me wrong there is room in this world for both of us, and one day I might join you but I will have to buy another machine, this one is staying as it is. img406.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cimg0214zs3.jpgMy second passion is cars, now don’t turn off you can have fun in a car but again it just has to be something different, mine is a 231BHP RX8, which is a Bikers car if such a thing exists, it red lines at 10,000 and screams like a bike when you push it hard, which I do all the time (on a track of course) again I’ve owned this from new and all I have changed is the reg plate. My third toy is this………….can you guess what it is? img406.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cimg2120yd3.jpg

Hello MIK RX Welcome to the :uk: , otherwise known as the :sunny: site, Looks like you've got some interesting vehicles there. The fact that your REX is that stock must simply reflect that fact that you've not been hanging around with this bunch. Pull up a chair and enjoy the goings on. BTW, I have no idea what that third rig is, other than it is obviously bloody BIGCome on, give us a hint!

Hi mik, welcome to the site, well I dont know how long ago you were 16 but it must have been some time ago cause old age has made you forget fitting the allspeed exhaust. There again with my eyesite its probably a standard exhaust with a sticker. Dont know what the white thing on the back of the merc is, but at a rough guess its something to do with oil/gas exploration. I cant talk for the others, but I rode mine all the way home (8 miles) before I started modifying it.

Hi there MIK RX . Love the Mazda ( tho i always think the TVR is the Biking Car) You say your passion is speed .... so it's FAST (ZRX) FAST (car) and then slow (truck) Dont think realy this site is about modding, not heavy modding anyway, most of us have changed the zurt pipe and /or added a bit of bling, but standerd or not, your very welcome. Enjoy the site...drop in a few posts...and have a laugh ( most all of us do)

Thanks Guys Lightspeed.............. the Rig is BIG it's the AMP 500 it weighs 200t and is used to plough oil ,pipelines in to the seabed. Trucker your right I forgot my other modification the allspeed sticker which covers a minor scratch but keeps it from corroding. Cheers Mike

Hi MIK RX and welcome to our site. The bike sure looks good, modded or otherwise and doesn't look too dissimilar to one parked not too far from here. I bought mine with the intention of leaving it standard but as time goes by, things just happen. A little tweak here and a little tweak there but most of my mods do serve a purpose. I see what you mean about the car. :car: A fine looking motor and a powerful beast to go with it. As for the pipeline plough in the third pic, how fast does that go?

As for the pipeline plough in the third pic, how fast does that go? ZRX Gremlin 200-400m/hour horizontally Vertically...........well I wouldn’t really like to find out the terminal velocity of a 200t object in sea water! so we slow it down and lower it gently. Mike
