Hi Gang
I'm new to the wonderful world of the Rex. This is also the first time I've joined a forum of any kind so that's 2 cherries popped in one evening........not many people can say that eh? I will update my profile as I get my head round how this place works, I'll post some piccys and pipe up from time to time to add my twopenneth. Just a bit of background (sorry if should post this info elsewhere on the site but I am new remember). I am married with 3 teenagers, I am a fire officer with Essex Fire Service and currently have 4 bikes: The Rex obviously, a 2003 1200R model with 6,500 miles on the clock; a 1974 CB500 Four (currently being restored); a 1978 Montesa 348 Cota that I compete in trials with and a 1980 Suzuki 250X7 that I sprint/drag in the summer months. Recent bikes include a Hayabusa (very brief ownership - but that's another story), 2 CBX1000's and an Aprilia ETV1000 Caponord. Just to get a bit of chat going, do you boys and girls ever get together and if so where and when. Secondly, do all front brakes brakes on the ZRX squeal or is it just mine? Look forward to getting to know y'all Paul/Rexmaniac

Hi and welcome to :zrxuk: . Its all good fun here so enjoy. One date you need to book off work (if you can) has to be April 20th. Kawasaki meeting at the Ace cafe London - check in rideouts/meetings thread. A lot of the rexxers are meeting up that day As for your front brakes - your not working them hard enough

Welcome, rexmaniac, brake squeel can be easily cured by fitted some decent HH pads. Doddle to do and fairly cheap if you get them off Bikesnoopy. As YB says, Ace cafe is the next offical meet up, but keep an eye on Rideouts section for local runs. Or if you want to organsie one yourself, post if there.
