Hi schmazly Thanks for the comments. It's early days and first I need to send one to Badger so he can see the real thing. At a push I guess I could get some sorted for Christmas but I think you'd best wear a white beard and a red robe What the heck is a REX - now I'm showing my ignorance I guess. Thanks to everyone for the comments and support. As I said, it really is a hobby both Angie & I really enjoy doing. It would be great if Angie could kick her M&S job into touch and concentrate on it full time. So if anyone has any good ideas, do let us know ;D Thanks a bunch.

Ok, sit back and concentrate..... a "Kwak" = Kawasaki a "REX" = ZRX a "Majestic Grey" = Grey/Silver S a S = is a ZRX with a half fairing a R = is a ZRX with a Bikini fairing a ELR = is a Eddie Lawson Replica (always in Kawasaki green) and with Bikini fairing. a Naked ZRX = is a ZRX with no fairing First in the line up is the Majestic Grey ( you do get other colours too) the the ELR, then at the back is a Naked ZRX.

It would be great if Angie could kick her M&S job into touch and concentrate on it full time. So if anyone has any good ideas, do let us know ;D Thanks a bunch. HMMM as usual i probably don't no what I'm talking about , theres defiantly a market for this kind of thing on this site and probably every car/bike/plane/boat etc etc site on the web, the question is can you make it pay. You said you sat up all night doing this one which realistically you could sell for £6-£12 as a patch. To my way of thinking that would mean your working for maybe £2 an hour . Kind of no what I'm talking about here, my mum does cakes, i mean shes really clever with them ie wedding cakes, bells/flowers made out of icing sugar ect ect, but the hours she puts in and the money she makes is really to be honest pathetic, its a hobby for her as shes retired and she loves doing it but to make a living out of it i think she would struggle. I think what you've shown us so far is amazing and i for one would luv one (and no rush by the way forget Christmas no problem with waiting), but hell what have you got to loose, if it doesn't work out then Angie will have to go back to working for someone else, at least you would have tried . Best of luck to the pair of you and i hope it works out....

The answer to profits is volume!
My parents, friends, students, and mother-in-law will all be getting ZRXUK patches as gifts as soon as they're available.
I want a HAT!
Maybe some thongs for bike week!

Badger forgot to mention that ELRs are the fastest ZRXs!
Also: Muzzy cams, full Muzzy Exhaust, Dyno-Jet carbs means faster still!
For an example of "chicken strips" see the thread on "tie down pics for R".

This is like a masterclass, I'll be a bike expert in no time The last bike I had was back in the 70's when I bought a brand new Yamaha DT175 and I had a ball on it. A guy I work with now commutes to work every day on his Honda CBR600 (I think). When we go out on site work we usually call into a few bike shops. I must admit, I like the Suzuki 1300 Busa 2008 model. This forum is quite unique for me. I've not posted to that many forums and I have to be very careful doing so! I posted to the Landrover forum and was banned for life immediately I can understand it as many have paying advertisers and are very commercialised. We will be able to do patches, only ever done a couple in the past as the most popular items on the Atom forum are: Polos Fleece hats Rugby shirts Fleece jackets I've done quite a few other items (not Atom related) as many of the guys there run businesses. The spin offs are good Also a few bits for Christmas pressies. This was one on a 'hoodie' BTW, this is me and Angie

Eh nice shellsuit there , Forums take a lot of work/time to set up and i think there owners probably get a bit pissed when someone walks in and uses them for free advertising. Kind of think of it like a pub, you would'nt walk into a strange Pub and start trying to sell T shirts to the locals would you. You'd go have a chat with the Landlord or the Bar Staff and ask there permision first. Glad your learning about bikes, the Busa is a fine example bit of a step up from a DT175 tho .

Welcome from the Canadian contingent of the UK site. Love the Atom - probably the closest you can come to a motorcycle experience on 4 wheels. :car: You've got WAY more cornering capacity there than any bike and the performance, even with the naturally aspirated Honda engine is quite outstanding! You're design handiwork looks absolutely top notch. As Firmhand indicated, likely a good market for a few of those badges 'round here!

Hi and welcome from another South Walian Our mcc club has been thinking about having a cloth patch made, at the moment ours are pressed out in leather. If your interested and can quote a price for a batch of them, we could probably give you some business.

Thanks for the kind comments. TBH, I've only ever created one lot of patches! I do prefer to stitch dirent to a garment, like a polo, T fleece etc etc but that's only because we don't have knowledge of patches. I get a real buzz when I see people wearing something with our work on If someone wants a hoodie with this embroidered on it, let me know. I did it specially for someone as a Chrimbo present but it was to big. I've now done a small for them now. Just got in from work so gonna have a bite. bbl
