Does anybody know where I might be able to track down a Greg Couch 5 piece fork brace in anodised black or a supplier that provides them?

I have one on my REX. Great piece of gear, but its staying put. Greg is still making them. See this thread on the ZRXOA for current status. You can contact him via the OA (see the section on mods made by members) link

Thanks Lightspeed, regrettably I will have to register as a new member, to be able to view the forum! I have found a Greg Couch brace on eBay, being sold by a guy over in the States and have also managed to track down a similar one manufactured by Sling Shot Racing (SSR) which is rather nice too!

Signing up is nothing to worry about. I think Greg sells the braces for $105 delivered in North America. Last I read it was an additional $12 to the UK.
Have to weigh that against the cost on eBay, or others. Greg makes very good kit!!!

Lightspeed, has the Greg Couch fork brace significantly improved the front end on your ZRX?
As it turns out the one I spotted on eBay, is actually being sold directly by Greg Couch @ $107.50 (£63.94) and $18.00 (£10.71) postage by UPS!

It made a significant difference on my REX. The circumstances most noticed was in ripply, bumpy corners where the front end wandered and hunted around a lot less. I think those circumstances causes the stock forks to flex a bit and the brace seems to keep them running in sync with each other, resulting in more stability. Just tracks bumpy corners much better.
Not noticed anything particular in straight line, even on bumps, but those circumstances wouldn't likely apply the same forces on the forks in the same way.

Thanks for the rider feedback, I know exactly what you mean about the REX front end wandering and that was why I was considering a fork brace to sort it out. Looks like I will be purchasing a Greg Couch 5 piece fork brace in black anodised then

I think you'll be happy. Bug guards weren't even available when I got mine. Haven't noticed any issues with wear or rock impacts on the fork legs without them.
