Good news, where are you planning to start from and at what time, could join up if ya fancy? My wife might not now be joining me as pillion! The check point at Dorchester on Thames (or Berinsfield) is the H Cafe I've never been to the Banbury check point before either?

Hi cartwright sorry for the delay in replying, were going to start at Burford and head clockwise, stop somewhere between Banbury and Oxford for some lunch, finish at Didcot and maybe onto the H cafe for the finish depending on the time, got no idea on timings i'm afraid, i'm on earlies this week (up at 4:45) so it won't be an early start, sort the dog out and just go i reckon!

Had breakfast at Regs Cafe and got to the H Cafe around 15:45, Lou won a flipping umbrella at the raffle, then home for a BBQ with some friends, cracking day but never saw another Rex all day, howd you get on Mark.

Hi Pete, Hope you had a great ride out? I was not a f##king happy bunny Saturday morning, all set to go out on the charity motorbike ride, a beautiful glorious day and then the bike decides to have an electrical fault. Bike fired up no problem, went to the garage to fill up with fuel, no problem. Then went to the bank to pay in some business cheques, came out and then the bike wouldn't start. So resorted to a bump start, it fired up and I headed home immediately. Once the bike was turned off it wouldn't start again, appeared to not have enough juice in the battery, diagnosed the problem as either failed battery or alternator or both!? Went to a friend's BBQ and then on to a beer festival to drown my sorrows! I have subsequently charged the battery then fitted it back on the bike, hit the start button, heard a click from the relay but nothing else. Turned on the lights and the ignition lights went out completely. So in the first instance I guess I need a new battery, once that's dealt with, I can check the charge arriving from the alternator?
