Can't go anywhere here without seeing many people on their phones. Laws are in place prohibiting use of hand held devices while driving, but seem to have had minimal or no impact.
Can spot the offenders from the vehicles wandering back and forth in the lanes (or outside of it) and taking several seconds to realise that the light has changed and traffic is moving past them before they move ahead. Their tendency to wander out of their lanes and neglect to stop/start on time does seem to be greater when there are smaller vehicles like motorcycles in the vicinity. Major new source of concern for riders!!!!

I was sitting on me bike 2 cars behind a set of T/lights, when they changed to green we moved off really slowly, by the time I could get passed, I could see why the car was driving so slowly. The woman driving the car was attending to her baby that was strapped into the front passenger seat..... Its not only mobile phones, satnavs which seem to be increasingly moving in front of the drivers eyesight, blocking more of their view of the road, and other road users.

I find a noisy tap on the drivers window with an armoured glove usually works wonders. Especially on my black GTR with black jacket with yellow flashes on the shoulders
