Hi Folks, I bought a ZRX1100 in the UK recently - thought I'd join the chat room. I found it on the IoW, 1998 model, and looking in good condition. Good to find a group who are interested in this bike, as i guess it will need a little TLC. I live in Radstock - a town just South of Bath. There isn't enough space on the roads to run a moped flat out, so not sure what I'm going to do with my new beastie I wonder what third gear will be like? ?

welcome to our house. :zrxuk: third gear is good for pottering around rolling up and down the torque range around town without all that bothersome gear changing.

Welcome Durcott! 3d gear on these beasties will take you from slow speeds in school zones to "throw 'im in jail speeds" If you want to be a bit more impressed, there are countless mods available to increase the power, touring ability, race prep, etc. etc. Just be aware of the impact of these activities on your Credit Card balance.

Hmmm - I suppose i could have just made off with it i guess, but surely good form to leave some sort of token reward. Anyway - I've found out what all those gears are for - now I just can't quite see why it needs all those rpm's, when 6000 of them is already fairly scary.
