The swing arm takes M10 x 1.25. Most bolts you have will be the coarser M10 x 1.5

Thanks for the reply, according to the seller they are m10x1.25 but of course the shipped item could be wrong.

I have a set of metric thread pitch gauges and could tell you in an instant whether the bolts are the right ones or not.
Burchy is correct, the standard ISO metric coarse thread 10mm diameter will have a 1,5mm pitch. What we need is the finer M10x1.25
As a quick guide, using a steel rule or similar, count off 10 threads (or pitches as there is only one thread) and measure the length. 1,5 mm pitch should measure 15mm, 1,25 pitch at 12.5mm and so on.

When I first installed spools (they came with the rear stand I bought), I didn't get one side snugged up properly and that spool went missing - first ride. I had an extra set of the spools, so tried simply replacing the bolt. I ended up buying a new set of spools from Kawasaki because I could find nowhere nearby that could provide me with the M10x1.25 bolt I needed.

Isn't one bolt longer than the other and supplied with a spacer or am I thinking of another bike? Can't rightly remember 'cos I fitted mine over 10 years ago and at that time the ZRX wasn't listed by the manufacturers. I believe mine were intended for the ZX10 or 12 or something. Whatever. The stand works, does what it says on the box and even for a 9 1/2 stone weakling is a simple one man operation.

Prob sorted. Threads had been damaged! I took the bike for a new front tyre and of course having bobbins would have made things easier. Anyway the tyre fitter checked the threads for me, only 1st few threads damaged so he ran his tap thingy through to sort them. This is a local small independent tyre fitter, new BT023 fitted and balanced and ride in ride out service £115.00 He's just outside Chorley if anyone wants his details.
