Hi folks. My Rex1200 has a full Akro fitted and belly pan. Can an oil a fliter change be done with the full system in place?
Also, I've never owned a bike with an Akropovic fitted. This one has springs all over the place, joints of course. If I need to remove the zorst to do the oil/filter are these springs easy to remove and when refitting do I past the joints and if so is there a recommended paste?
Cheers lads.

You don't need to remove any of the system.
Just for info, with a spring puller you can have the lot off in about 5 mins, no paste is needed on re-assembly.

And if you dont have a pukka spring puller, just a lemgth of wire through the eye of the spring will have it off in seconds

My 'pukka' spring puller is a bucket handle with the bent bit at the end ground to a point.

Depending on fitment, you may have to gently push the pipe away from the filter cover to get it off.
Because, as Phoenix said, with a spring puller, it takes about 2-3 minutes to remove everything from the end of the header back, (4 springs and 1 muffler bracket bolt) so nothing is in your way, I simply remove the midpipe/muffler portion to change oil.
