No thanks, I'll pass on this one. It may be advantageous on the odd occasion but Ito my mind it could also be an unwelcome additional distraction. I'd still need to be doing my shoulder check/lifesaver to make sure nobody is in my blind spot before changing lanes etc so a rear view mirror in my lid would be of little use.
Another disadvantage I could envisage is that the mirror is not held in a fixed position like that in a car so unless you keep your head perfectly still at all times your rear view will alter. This might lead to the user making more than just a brief glance in the mirror before making their manoeuvre. Watching where you're going is always going to be more use than seeing where you've been.
