Just got me a 05 zrx 1200s. I'm really a Harley guy but I was looking for something diffarent to try. Don't know a thing about these bikes was just told that the tank got to come off to change the spark plugs, just had a good look around the bike & can't see the oil filter? this is going to be fun

Welcome to the :uk: site.
Coming from a Harley, you'll notice a lot of differences!
As is common to almost every four cylinder I4 bike, the tank will have to come off to access the inner 2 spark plugs. Tank attachment bolts on the REX are at the rear of the tank, under the front of the seat. Remove bolts, detach the fuel level sending unit wires and the overflow hose and work the tank rearward to remove. The front of the tank is located by a pair of rubber doughnuts that slide into grooves in the inner channel of the tank.
Oil filter is inside the crank case on the bottom of the engine. Look for a 4" diameter cover with a single bolt in the middle of it just to the rear of the oil drain bolt. Behind that is the filter.
Ask up and we'll see if we can point you in the right direction.

It did? Really? Stopped and accelerated? Turned both ways? I've found that while they may do the same things, they tend to do them in very different ways.

Looks really good and you don't see that colour scheme very often, in fact I don't think I've seen one that colour in the flesh.
Let me know when you want to meet up at Loomies and we could have a small ZRX gathering:- You me YB Les and possibly Firmhand for starters
