Last year or maybe the year before I forget I replaced the clutch fibre plates due to excessive clutch slip.
These were EBC plates I used and also at teh time replaced the OEM springs with EBC springs.
The springs were torqued up to the recommended settings.
However I don't get a smooth biting point it judders.
As the springs are slightly linger shoudl the torque setting be different?
Or is it something else that could be causing the judder?

Were all the plates and fibres totally clean when you assembled the clutch?
Does it feel like the clutch is grabbing and then releasing or is it slipping and then catching during the release?

Sounds like a bit of contamination on the plates. Probably need to strip it out and give it a good clean, but before that, try a few high rev drag starts to really give the clutch some use. Might just clean it up and won't do any harm in any event

I might just take it all to bits again and give it a good clean. No slip at all it is just a little judder at the bit point.
