Well another project FJ 1200 1 TX the one without the fuel fump as its gravity fed..... Re occuring problems with the fuel overflows leaking .. I have fitted new needle jets , cleaned everything so you can eat you dinner out of it , re assembled and disassembled about 7 times now and although i have cured 3 overflows there is still one that continues to overflow The fuel tank has been cleaned and flushed and an inline fuel filter put on prior to re fitment ...petcock replacement kit fitted also.. Now its bugging me why this one overflow still insists on spewing petrol out ...just to add i did check the floats for boyency and they were all ok as well. Any ideas folks

So, I'm assuming that questions requiring answers have to be placed in the Dear Brakey thread?

Carbs are very sensitive things i have found out BUT .................................. I found that a large a wee tap with a large hammer and a block of wood does wonders freeing off a sticky float Keep on ridin
