I've got 2 tins of paint I can use for repainting the pipes, but which do you think will be better Satin black Hammerite Black high temp exhaust paint Black high temp exhaust paint for me, m8 jus done my exhausts with the stuff, came up a treat, though don't mention brake fluid,

I'd powdercoat myself but hammerite would do best out of the 2 options you give. No need for high temp stuff as they don't get that hot really. Powdercoat is too much hassle, have to take the bits in then go back to collect them, driving a fast car is too expensive on the fuel aswell Tin of Hammerite costs £8 and there is enough to do my brake calipers on the car aswell

Which is the middle one?
There are 3; one behind the headers, one from the water pump and one at the rear near the carbs.
If it is the one behind the headers then yes is can be a pain, just a case of easing it out with a couple of levers. Once the bolts are out there is nothing holding it in place other than the rubber O rings.

The one behind the headers, finally got it out using a crowbar and hammer, mangled to death and lots of blood lost, at least the other 2 pipes are sanded and repainted now, new part should be here Friday so it should all be back together Sunday How much coolant do I need? And what's the bolt at the end of the pipe I've destroyed for
