hi guys im just putting a zzr600 crank, rods, pistons and barrels onto a zrx 400 motor. i know this can be done/has been done before question is 400 or 600 cams and any ballpark figures for carb jetting initially? cheers

You're going to have to use the 400 head as the 600 is semi-downdraught and won't fit. I reckon this will give problems with piston height and compression ratios, but probably not insurmountable.
For cams I'd try ZXR400 cams as they are a straight swap for the ZRX400 cams and give longer dwell and a bit higher lift.
jetting will depend on the headers and can, but I would start off with 105 mains. This is really a matter of trial and error with a friendly dyno operator
