Well this week marks the beginning of practice week for the first International Road Race meeting of the year. Fingers crossed for the weather this year. As usual BBC NI got great coverage of the event, so for us not in NI we can watch all the practice session and all the racing f.o.c on the Internet live. Just remember it isn't like the DVDs, most of it is either on board or helicopter shots, but still a great watch. ;D ;D ;D All the info for the coverage is here along with all the riders and previous race footage. My bets are on Manxman Connor Cummins this year. Been racing in the BSS for Blackhorse Kawasaki so he is fit and raring to go, will be in McAdoo colours for this event. Kwaks tend to do quite well here

Anybody watch it online or on BBC red button today. As usual, Kawasaki promised so much, came 2nd in Superbike with Connor Cummins, but we could have done so much better. Farquhar was plagued with Superbike gearbox problems in the two SBK races, and Cummins had a high side in the Superstock whilst he was leading it coming out of University corner. Superstock was the race to watch, Kwaks 2nd/3rd on the grid, and until the last half of the lap Ryan Farquhar was leading on his Zx-10, in the end he finished 3rd. Suppose a 2nd and a 3rd isn't too bad....could have been better. Great to see a lot of the British Championship riders taking part in this event. Before long it will be back on the British Championship race schedule. The new BMW S1000RR was stealing the show in the big bike races...fully stock engine wise, it was getting podium/winning against the SBK bikes...brilliant machine that Great coverage from the beeb online and on BBC red button too. Nice one

Dont tend to watch this on the telly, would love to go and watch it live though (suppose it would be hard to watch it dead). On the list of things to do. :hmm: A hate lists, too regimental
