I urgently need a new exhaust ive tried looking on the net but cant seem to find any one that deals with 2 stroke exhausts ...any ideas GP100 1986 Not bothered if its second hand, need one cos the one ive got has a hole in it getting bigger each time the kickstart hits it

Probably les, but ive had to bodge it for the MOT in the morning cos i only just noticed it after i warmed it up Although it does need a new exhaust , cant understand how the kick start has been fouling the exhaust in the first place but its got some deep gouges in it now The exhaust is hanging properly, the only other thing is if its the wrong kick start on it Someone out there must do a replacement exhaust surely

:hmm: I'm guessin' aftermarket/stock exhausts for an '86 GP100 are probably not in high demand.

as long as there is metal there to weld, it should be ok.

Oh plenty of metal Brakey Now let me see where i put that welder Arrr i remember now i never had one and i cant weld Turns out there were too many washers behind the exhaust bracket so the kick start was hitting the pipe , i took 5 washers off and the kick start almost clears the pipe now it just fowls the rear wheel spindle bolt but i have a plan gently hammer a nice dent to clear the spindle bolt

Cheers Kev , that would of been great Ive made a nice ally plate up to cover the pin holes then i added some gum gum under the plate and used self tappers to secure it. Its looking good and has sealed a treat Meanwhile ive changed the oil as i was getting clutch slip so put a thicker oil in and see if that cures it Took me the best part of 2 hrs to get the sump bolt out as someone had rounded it off Shes alll ready for the next test ride . Oh and thought id tell you that it cost me £15 to tax it for a year
